  Waveform cache-22

  Running in Sierra, FCP7, tried to launch last night and it freezes up during launch with a message that the waveform cache needs write permission, and I should fix this in Preferences. But, I can’t get to those Preferences because the warning message stops the loading, FCP won’t let you do anything until the warning is closed, and okaying/dismissing the warning also means FCP quits and never loads up, so I can’t get to the prefs that way.

  Can’t get there from here.
