  asymmetrical video transitions

  OK, i’d like to modify the video transitions so that they are not always symmetrical. In the words, when i drag let’s say the left side of the transition, then it opens up the right side by the same amount. i don’t want that, i want to be able to have one side of the transition be longer than the other. is that possible?

  Sorry, FCP 7 doesn’t do asymmetrical video transitions.

  Like Shane says, but you can easily keyframe
  asymmetrical fades
