  • How can I convert the video setting?

I am editing documentary with FCP7.0.

I have been editing with proress 422 1920X1080

But I just found all of the sequences are with 720X480 NTSX DV.

    Some are still with proress.

I guess I changed it by mistake..

I have to edit for proress 422 1920X1080 format.

So I created the sequence with the setting: proress 422 1920X1080 format.

and cut and paste the clips on the time line.

It is small, but I tried to enlarge it. But character is skewed to be skinny..

What should I do to convert the setting?

After you paste the footage into a ProRes 422 sequence, highlight all of it and right click, choosing REMOVE ATTRIBUTES. choose BASIC MOTION….Scale and Distortion.
