    Hi there,

I’m doing a shoot tomorrow using two cameras – an FS7 and C300 – using a lock box to sync timecode. I’m cutting on FCP 7 (normally would have an editor and post house but not this time). My question is this – if I convert the clips from the FS7 using pavtube video converter to pro res and just use the log and transfer for the C300 footage – will this be easy to sync up using the FCP 7 feature for syncing multicam footage???

    Thanks,

    Eddie

You’ll have to test. In my experience, FCP 7 had issues with footage converted to ProRes via pav tube. It lost sync with IT’S OWN AUDIO. That’s why I use EditReady, or Resolve to convert anymore…
