is standard JPEG ok for modifying individual frames?
I’ve got 23.98 fps 1920×1080 prores 422 video files, and need to do some manual touch ups on a few frames.. I just wanted to see if there’s any thing “bad” about my current workflow:
1. choose the frame in FCP
2. select export using quicktime conversion
3. choose still image with my 23.98 fps rate and choose JPEG
4. open in photoshop + make changes
5. export to JPEG with the highest compression setting
6. place the frame back on the timeline and trim it so it’s actually only the length of 1 frame. Is this ok? Is there a better format I should be using other than JPEG?
