I have several old FCP 7 projects that don’t contain files that I imported, as well as some sequences. All that they contain is the most current sequence I worked on and a few audio files. But all my footage and text files aren’t in the browser. I don’t mean they need to be re-connected; they just aren’t there. I never deleted anything and even in my auto-save vault, all the fcp project files have missing files in the browser. Is this a bug? And anyone know if there’s a solution to bring back the files in the browser?

Are you sure you didn’t have those clips in another project that was open at the same time?

Yes I’m sure. This happened to several old projects of mine. I think it might be a bug.
