  MBP gets slower and slower

  I can’t find a definitive answer in my searches. My Mac Book pro starts out in any of my projects just flying. No lag at all. Everyday that I turn the machine back on, it gets stupid slow. Now nowhere in the process between day one and now, has there been any increase in media added to the machine. It’s a 2 year old 13 inch. I have a couple of 4 gig external drives. The internal drive has 500 gig and about 320 gig remaining. The ram was bumped up from 4 to 8 right after I got it. I use FCP7 with external monitor, external sound system. It’s weird. I can shut it down day 1 working killer. Boot it up in the morning and it is less than a snails pace. Anyone see this before?
