i have to recall one of my sessions from autosave vault.
When i opened it i have VOB files with red mark through them saying media offline. But when i try to connect them it cannot find them, don’t know if they have been deleted. but when i drag one of them onto the timeline i can see the video play perfectly, but cant save it nor export it as when you play it back its just the screen with the red mark saying media offline… Please help i really need the video back 🙂 Thanks in advance

What you’re seeing may be just a reference movie, a sort of thumbnail of the actual video. The real files may be erased, or lost on the drive without their header information. What happens when you play the VOB files thru mpeg streamclip? If it works there, use streamclip to export as prores 422. Re-import that to your timeline.
