  alexa fcp7 reslove then print workflow..

  Hello,

  I’d like to share my workflow idea and if something wrong let me know please.

  we are doing indie film 90 mins.

  -film on ALEXA prores 4444 2k res
  -edit as (2k or proxy)on fcp7 with some sapphire effects
  -grade on resolve on native camera files prores 4444.

  now here is the qu.
  -I’d like to export graded files back to FCP same file names same res.
  -reconnect grades back in FCP at 2k seq to get the sapphire effects applied on the graded files as done at editing stage earlier.
  -export QT file from FCP7 same as seq settings.
  -import at resolve>>export as DPX for direct print.

  anything you think is going wrong!
  for me the strange thing is fact the master file actually getting out from FCP7 not Resolve…theoretically can’t accept this but actually it should be fine? as I’ll keep codec and res native at all stages
