  • Poster frame resets after uploading online

Posted by Albert Fulner on August 30, 2013 at 7:20 pm

I’m editing some videos that are going to be uploaded online but I can’t get the poster frame to be what I want. When I set the poster frame in FCP, the video’s thumbnail on my computer shows the correct image, but when I upload it to my dropbox folder, it reverts back to the original. It always goes back to the frame that is 7.02 seconds into the video. I’ve tried with several different videos in several different formats but it keeps happening. I can’t find anything online about this issue and I know I’ve done this before and it has worked.

    Please help!

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? Seems to be a dropbox issue…

    Albert:

Did you find a solution to your problem. I sent a ‘tech support’ email to Dropbox this morning with the same question / problem. If they have an answer I will forward it to you.

    Thanks,
