  How to do this Effect – Ripple or Repeating Image Layers – FCP 7

  Hi,

  I didn’t know how to describe this effect. Ripple image or Repeating image.

  Any tutorials on here that describes this?

  How I would attempt this is:

  Put the same clip on several video tracks, each one offset by equally increasing amounts of frames. Highlight each one in turn, use the 3-way color corrector, or the video filters, and colorize each layer a different shade. Now, change the blending mode of each of the upper layers (Top Menu > Modify> Composite mode> your choice , maybe multiply or screen ).
