  AE CS3 Crashes on PPro CS3 Project Import – P2 MXF Footage

  I have a Premiere Pro CS3 project with all native P2 footage (MXF) and I’m trying to import the whole project to AE CS3 for color correction and effects. Every time I try to import AE crashes. I have the latest versions of both (3.1.1 and 8.0.2) running on an 8 core Mac Pro – 16 gig RAM – all the footage is on an internal RAID. After I click import, the crash happens imediately, but I can see in the project panel that it has tried to import the first clip, which makes me think the issue is with importing the footage. I REALLY dont want to have to recreate the project in AE (that’s why I’m using Adobe, right?) Any ideas why I’m crashing? Please let me know if you need more information.
