    um, hi.
this is a stupid question, but I am stumped- so have to ask… how do I combine my edited projects onto one timeline in order to fine tune, put music in and then export?
I have 10 projects of 3-4 mins or so, which will make a 30 plus minute film. I have made each individual story/project into a compound clip- thinking that would be the neatest way to order them into a new sequence.
However I can’t “find” them anywhere to drag and drop them into this new sequence. I thought they would show up as events perhaps?
Do I have to copy and paste from the project list? If so, I feel this is clumsy of FCP.
As always, thanks so much for your help,
    Heidi

It sounds like you’re talking about FCPX? You may have better luck in the FCPX techniques forum. This basics forum tends to be mostly FCP7 people. Hopefully they can help you out!

    Thanks kylee,
I worked it out… it is copy and paste thing.. seems so clunky for FCP to do this though!
