  Clear in and out in

  I have FCP Ver 7.0 and the “Clear In and Out” under the Mark menu is grayed out. To change in and out points of the source video, I have to delete the clip from my sequence time line and hunt for the same clip to set new in and out points. Very lame workflow! Is there a later version of version 7.0 that will allow me to adjust in and out points in the viewer? I don’t want to use Ver X.

  Alt-I will delete the IN, Alt-O the OUT and Alt-X both.

  Hi,

  You have to reselect the clip from the Browser, not from the timeline.

  Then as Rafeal says above.
