  surprising change in file size

  I’ve exported many FCP .mov files in the ProRes422 codec, then used MpegStreamclip to convert to QT PhotoJpegs. Today, instead of the typically smaller file sizes, they are larger than the exported files.
  I can’t see why. Any clues? Thanks, Ken

  Do you set it to jpeg2000 by accident?

  No, I use a preset, which I double checked and it’s set correctly.
  FYI, one file went from 400MB to 650MB. The others went similarly.
  Even at 100%, which it’s not set to, this is weird.
