  Question about rendering in DV Codec

  If I render a bunch of files for convenience in a DV codec sequence (including effects, high quality animations from After Effects, etc.), and then copy and paste everything into a better codec sequence like ProRes, are those files going to still retain the rendering and compressing that they got in the DV codec sequence?

  Don’t copy to a new sequence.
  Just change the sequence settings and re-render.

  Oh, okay, thanks a lot. So the answer would be no, it doesn’t change those files in the sequence forever. Thanks.
