  Video and Audio out of sync when importing into FCE

  Does anyone have any idea why this happens? The files are MP4s, and several seconds into the clip the audio and video go out of sync. When I watch the files before they are imported into FCE, they are fine (no sync problems). Anyone have a quick fix for this? Thank you!!

  MPEG-4 is not a format edited in FCE. You need to convert the media to a format used by the application. Use MPEG Streamclip to do this. Exactly what you convert to depends on the full specifications of the original media.
