  HD DVD won’t play in set top DVD player

  I just produced a HD DVD in DVD Studio Pro, the DVD plays fine in my mac computer but does not play in any dvd players? Anyone know why

  I believe you answered your own question in your post. You are trying to watch an HD movie with a SD DVD player?

  Those disks are nonstandard.
  There are printed on SD DVD disks, but formatted as HD-DVD.
  SD DVD Players can not access the info, as Tood points.
