I have imported a 31 sec clip (.MOV) into FCP. The video plays completely in the viewer however when I bring it into the timeline I cannot get more then 21 sec to appear in the timeline. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Your going to have to provide more info on the mov file for anyone to be able to help you.

Where did it come from? Video codec? Etc, etc, etc?

It’s a screen shot captured with SnapZpro. I have never had any issues using this before. This is the first time I am using it with the new version of FCP

Simply telling me it was a screen shit from snappro does not tell me anything about the file.

    What codec is it?
    What are your timeline settings?

The codecs for SnapZ Pro are DV/DVPRO – NTSC, IMA 4:1 30 frames/sec.
    FCP is also DV/DVPRO – NTSC, MONO 48 KHz 16 bit at 29.97 frames/sec.
