    Hi there,

I’ve given up on rolling end credits in FCP, and I don’t know After Effects, so I’m going to do title cards. Only problem is that when I pick Effects – video generators – titles – text, it only lets the titles go so high. If I want a full slate of crew titles and names, it cuts off the bottom names unless I make the font super small, which looks ridiculous.

Is there any way to change how the text tends to sit at the bottom of the page? I mean, I can move the text around in the canvas, but the bottom text is cut off if I put too many names on there.

Any work-arounds for this in FCP?

    Thanks, as always,
    Marisa

You use the Origin button in text controls to position the text. Or use Title 3D for more text options. Or Title Crawl for rolling or crawling text.

    All the best,

    Tom
