  Audio Files Keep Making FCP Crash

  Hello,

  I used a digital field recorder to record some audio. It made wave files. The wave files play fine both from the recorder and in itunes, but when I try to import them into Final Cut, Final Cut crashes every time. Any idea why this might be happening?

  Yes. FCP doesn\’t like wave files. Convert to aiff and you\’ll be fine.
