I have many long, c30 min clips, short lengths of which I’ve put to the timeline. When I open these again in the viewer the whole clip is displayed with little detail in the in to out section. As I have markers in here and need to navigate, is there no way of expanding this area of the clip?

Maybe there’s a way of temporarily discarding discarding the unwanted portion of the clip?

    Many thanks

You can create subclips and then the smaller version of the whole clip will load. Typically I never capture a clip longer than ten minute segments.

Try Subclipping by using your markers as in points .
