  Hello,
  Ive looked at the previous questions asked on this site but can’t find what i’m looking for. I want to add a layer filter effect and a soft focus effect to my sequence but these options are not available in the video filters section of the final cut pro software How can i achieve these effects?

  What is a “layer filter?”

  Soft focus…? That’s in the BLUR part of the VIDEO FILTERS. Defocus…or SOFT FOCUS…or Gaussian blur…
