    Sorry to blow this forum up with a 2nd question in a row, but…

    When you add a cross-disolve, for instance, to two stills, there’s a “jump” when the transition is through. How do you prevent that jump to provide a smooth transition?!

    I’ve actually had this issue on several projects and was told it’s because the quality of effects (even title text boxes) will match the quality of video I’m working with… and that sounded weird…

    What are your timeline settings?

    **Hindsight is always 1080p**

    Highlight the effect in the timeline then Sequence Menu > Render Only > Full. I’m not sure why this is necessary when the transition effect has no render line above it, but this often fixes this issue.
