    Dear All

I have finished my movie which I have created in Final Cut (for the first time) and have managed to export it to an iPod format so that I can watch and share it using the iPod. On some movies which I have purchased from iTunes, there is a nice chapter list. How can I add this to my movie? Using DVD studio?

Any help or pointers would be great!

    Thanks very much,

    Al

    Al,

Try importing your FCP Reference Movie into a Soundtrack Pro Multitrack Project. Expose the Podcast track using the Show popup menu.

When you select the Podcast track the Details inspector becomes active. Use the Blade tool to make your cut points (chapters). Add metadata, and for Image Source, select “Video at Start of Selection.”

    Export:

    – Exported Items: Master Mix
    – File Type: AAC/Podcast File

Select the Podcast tab and activate Video Track

You should be all set …

    -paul.

Sorry, I didn’t get the change to thank you for your reply.
I’ve not done it yet, but I am sure you’re right.

Thanks a lot of your help.
