  Hi,
  If you have decent enough disk, can you edit HD video on Mac mini?
  (HD video like avchd, 1080 prores)

  yes but with a lot of limitations.

  A/B editing, footage on a FW800 drive.

  No way to have external monitors. But for basic editing it will be fine. Not sure if Color or Motion will work at all with the graphic card or chip it has.

  FCP, Compressor and DVDSP should be okay.
