The TV station needs an mpeg-2 file. I assume they want a single, muxed file and not 2 files – audio and video. In Compressor, I chose Large Web Movie, file format MPEG-2 and I get file extension: .m2v.

What’s the right way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Dave

In Compressor do a search for transport. It will find the MPEG-2 transport stream preset, which you can duplicate and adjust as needed.

Just to add, they’re in Formats>MPEG-2. There are elementary and program streams there as well. I assumed you wanted transport.

    All the best,

    Tom
