When rendering various projects, I have started having the problem where the render stops and I get an error message:
After Effects error:opening movie – – you do not have permission to open this file (-54).
To clarify, I have been working on this mac for two years or more, up until December of last year, this had never happened before. No other programs have been installed or changed in several months. The interesting thing about it happening this time is that I was rendering a still and just moving it around. It had rendered for several minutes and then stopped and I got this warning.

I am working on a dual processor mac in version 10.3.9 and After Effects is Version 7.0 professional. I have trashed the After Effects preferences and the problem continues. Does anyone have some advice about this particular problem?

    Do you have Quicktime 7.4?

I’d almost bet the error happens after about 10 minutes of rendering?
