    Hi there,

We’re using Final Cut pro 6 at our station and I’ve made some templates for a bumper going into commercial break. The animation requires a little rotation of the video. Not a problem I’ve made a 3d effect saved into my favorites. We have 7 suites here and i’d like to load my favorite effect onto the other suites so i don’t have to set this up manually 7 times. I can’t figure out where Final cut saves this file. A search comes up with nothing. Can anyone tell me where this would be?

    thanx

If you saved it as a favorite motion it should be in your Favorites bin. This is part of the preferences file. The simplest way to move the favorite is to drag the Favorites bin into an empty project. Save the project on a jump drive and take it to any machine that needs it.

    All the best,

    Tom
