    Hello Everybody.

Need help figuring out the correct conversion process. I have shot footage as 1080i @ 60fps. My intention is to be able to conform in Cinema Tools my 60i file to 29.97 to get some nice slow motion shots.

HOWEVER…Being the wonderful new pain in the @$$ format that AVCHD is. I can’t quite figure it out. FCP log and transfer mode converts the files to 29.97. Tried using Toast to convert directly from the .MTS files but it only seems to recognize it as 29.97. So converting from 29.97 to 59.94 does not produce what I need.

Has anybody tried doing the same thing? Any insight is appreciated.

    Here is my set-up:
    Canon HFS10
    Recorded in: 1920×1080 @ 60i

Cutting in FCP on Intel iMac w/2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor.
