  Is there an external device to view rendered clips without rendering

  I am using Matrox MXO2 to color grade on external monitor and I am tired to rendering every time I make an adjustment. I am not talking about red-line render issues when formats don’t match time line settings. I’m talking about programs like Magic Bullet Looks and others that have to be rendered every time you adjust a setting. Is there any external device, software, or other solution that would allow me to view the changes on my canvas window with constantly having to render?

  You can view all you want…still frames. PLAYING with MB Looks requires rendering. No external device will make it not so.

  You can color correct with COLOR and not need to render. Or using the 3-way in FCP. But other tools, like MB Looks, require rendering.

  You may try the “Quick View” (tools).
