  looking for a tutorial

  Hello All,
  Is there a way to take the movement of an audio waveform and match that movement to an AE layer? Does that make sense? I’m looking to find a tutorial on it.

  You do mean “how do I make audio affect a layer?” and not “how do I get a video depiction of an audio soundwave to affect a layer?”, right? If so, these tutorials are great.

  Yep, that’s what i was looking for, very good tutorials. Now i just need to learn more about expression equations, i can mimic what they do in the tutorials, next i need to understand the numbers 😉 Thanks guys.

  Have you tried the “Audio Waveforms” effect? (Its in Effects/Generate) Apply it to a solid layer and use an audio layer as the source and your good to go. A little twiddling and you should get what your looking for.
