Multiclip Viewer Problem
Hello
I have made a multiclip, i tried to edit the video but i get the problem where the video fills the viewer when i play the video. I also tried selecting the timeline then playing the video, but then the video froze and when i pressed space again to pause the video it jumped to where i had paused it. I tried trashing my prefs, and that didn’t fix it, i can’t select unlimited rt because it doesnt show when i click the RT dropdown menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don’t forget to select Gang from the drop down menu on the viewer otherwise your playhead won’t sync to the multiclip stream. If you”re not getting RT controls it’s because you are using a format that FCP doesn’t support with RT like H.264 (a delivery codec not an editing codec). What are your project formats/settings?

my project is h.264 24fps, and i was using open playhead sync! but i guess the h.264 was the problem!

hehe, well thanks for response ill be sure to use either hdv or dvcprohd when doing multicam editing in the future 🙂
