  AE freelance rates

  Hello,

  I’m a motion graphic artist of 13 years and recently had an offer for a freelance project using AE. I live in the D.C. metropolitan area and have previous freelance experience over 7 years ago with National Geographic, WETA, Struble Oppel Eichenbaum and Williams Gerard Productions. I’ve been working full time for the past 7 years and have no idea what the going freelance rates are. This would be for a 30 Show Open and would be working with my co-worker/friend on this project so would like to give a fair rate but don’t want to sell myself short either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I’ve seen traffic on this topic in the Business forum and the Broadcast Design forum. Try searching for “rates”.
