All tutorials that I see for FCP7 time remapping show a “time remapping” section in the motion tab…I only have a “speed section”. Apparently there are supposed to be two keyframes on both sides of the clip to start out…is there something wrong here? I am having trouble wrapping my head around time remapping as the speed section contains 0 to 1324 frames (or start to the end of my project, rather than the end of the clip) it is near impossible to maneuver the time remaps how I want them. Thanks

The name time remapping has been changed simply to speed. If you add a keyframe with the Speed tool, keyframes will be added at the beginning and end of the clip.

    All the best,

    Tom
