Is there a quick and easy way to clear all the rendering files for all the projects I have archived in separate folders on my drives?

Are there any system generated folders/files that I should be careful about deleting? (Besides Capture Scratch which contains the actual footage.) If I ever needed to go back to them, FCP would just generate new folders that it needs right?

    Thanks

You can go to Tools > Render Manager to clear out render files there.
