    Hello:
To make a long story short: We currently work with the Harris Velocity system in SD. A client needs a copy of their spot on Beta SP. Our only Beta SP machine is out of commission right now. To save time, I figured I’d simply render a DV/DVCPro NTSC QT file, run it over to a local production company that has FCS suites & a working Beta SP machine, drop it into a DV sequence and spit it directly to tape. However, as soon as the clip was imported into Final Cut, it doubled the frame rate from 29.97 to 59.94 and of course it ran in half the time and the audio was out of sync. Curious, I took this file home to my FCS system and the same thing occurred. So then I also rendered out Animation, Jpeg 2000, Photo Jpeg and an uncompressed file and they all do the same thing, yet, when I run these clips in the QT player, they play just fine and the clip info says they have a 29.97 frame rate. Can anyone hazard to guess why Final Cut might be doubling the frame rate or could the problem be inherent with my original clips?
    Thanks,
