I am a new Final Cut Pro User. I have a clip that I am trying to lengthen in the browser by inserting a new in point, but I keep getting the message “Media Limit on V1.” I only have about 2 minutes of video on the V1 track. Thanks!! Chris

Chris, welcome to the FCP club. If you have a clip in timeline, lets call it clip A. And then another right next to it, which we will call clip B. When you try to extend Clip B’s in point you are trying to extend its length to the left. It can’t be extended any more to the left because clip A is in the way. Ways around this is to move Clip B further down the time line and then extend it or use some of the cool tools like the Ripple Tool. Hope this helps and best of luck.
