I keep getting timecode error whenever I log and capture. I’ve looked up the solutions to the problems. I’ve rewinded my tapes and then fast forwarded them. I’ve tried Capture now, I’ve trying batch capturing each clip one by one. I’m waiting until 15-20 seconds in to start capturing. I’ve been trying to capture the two tapes for days now and I must have gone through both of them 5-6 times each. Only half my clips have been captured and the others aren’t working.

Now when I log and capture my tape just gets rewinded all the way to the beginning. The message “Batch Capture Error: Unable to locate the specified timecode. You may have specified a timecode with insufficient room for a pre/post roll operation.” The only problem is, the clips I’m trying to log are far into the tape. Any help?

What’s your hardware setup? Are you capturing from camera or tape deck? Are you using Firewire? What’s your Capture Scratch disk & how is it connected?
