  Exporting from FCP to DVD

  I am new to this site as well as FCP and I have a lot to learn.

  Why is it when I export a quicktime movie from FCP it plays perfectly on the computer, but on a TV screen the movie is jerky and blurriness happens.
  Please let me know if anyone can help.

  My settings are DV-NTSC 48 KHZ (720 – 480)
  I select my sequence and export it to quicktime movie
  I select chapter markers
  and I make it a self contained movie
  I have put it on a DVD+R and DVD-R and it does not help

  Is there something I am missing.

  You need to export from FCP to compressor and from Compressor to DVD SP. Create a DVD in DVD SP.
