  AFX crashing…Help!

  Hi…

  I have an AFX 6.5 project that was completely ok, but I had to install Nero Start Smart, and since then my project crashes all the time, when it is almost loaded (99% in the info window), it crashes….I have unistalled Nero and then the project opens normally. And the signature error (sorry about my english!)says: mdname: neaudio.ax. Why does it happen?

  Please help me! I need both softwares…but apparently they hate each other!

  I’m not an expert, but until an expert answers…

  Sometimes programs like Nero will install utilities like DirectCD, which can cause all sorts of problems. I’d look for those utilities and remove them if possible. Clearly the “uninstall” process didn’t uninstall everything that Nero added.

  I was trying to solve the problem, then I decided to delete all the sound files from the project, and it worked perfectly. So I think I have an audio problem that appeared because of Nero (if I uninstall it – with the unisntall process – the problem disappears and if I install it back the problem appears again), it
