I’m working on a project where my brother is doing a news segment and he is “one the scene”. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to film him actually on location, so we filmed him in the studio in front of the green screen. I got a fairly good key and how need to do some color correction, but have no idea how to start. I found this tutorial which I think will help but does anyone have any pointers on how to get started?

    Here’s a frame grab: Reporter%201_00000.png

Sorry if this is a repost, I got an error when I tried to post it before.

    Hi,

Looking at the screen grab I would start by looking at the colour match up. I would try to up the brightness on your brother. Then look at colour correction to make him look as if he is in the same light.

Edffects colour/curves I think, try bringing down the red and pushing up the blue/green slightly.

As a tip, next time you do green scrren make sure your subject is well lit as it is easier to tone down than bring up when matching scenes for comp work.

    Good luck.
