I’m running a brand new Mac Pro 8 core and FCS2. When I try to add more than about 25 clips to Compressor to transcode to Pro Res, it quits. The clips are shot on a Canon 5D Mark II. 1920 X1080, in AVCHD. I can add about 20 at a time and the process is smooth, but more than that, and it shuts down. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Open up Activity Monitor(/Applications/Utilities/). Check to see how much memory is being used up. As a active OS X dev, and user of FCS, most crashes like this are memory issues. Watching the memory usage, add the clips to compressor. If you run out of memory, you might need to buy more, otherwise it might be a bug and you can then report it to
    apple if you want.

    Just my two cents.
