Final Cut Express files to Final Cut Pro
Sorry, I’ve never used Final Cut Express. But I’ve been asked if Final Cut Express project files can be imported into Final Cut Pro. Can they? It seems to me that they should.

It can be done, but it depends on the versions of the software, the FCE version the project was created in and the FCP version that opens it.

So if they are on the most current version of Final Cut Express and I’m on FCS3 I will have no problems?

Should not be a problem, unless there is a LiveType project in the FCE project that contains media that is no longer available in FCS.
