  leader/slate/opening title card…whatever its called

  i have a fcp project i am exporting for the web and would like to use a leader/slate/opening title card that is only visible before the actual movie is played. similar to what mediastorm.org does.

  i have dropped the title card (it’s a screenshot from the movie) into the timeline but cant seem to get it to dissapear fast enough, it is limited to a 1 sec minimum. again, i only want it to be visible before the clip starts.

  any advice…?

  Can’t you drop a 1 frame still into the very first frame of the movie on the timeline?

  i tried but can’t seem to get it to only one frame, fcp keeps changing it to 1 sec…i am sure it’s operator failure and not the program 😉
