  Capture Settings for HDV

  Hello everyone!

  I have looked through the threads for this, and it may be here somewhere, but I’ve missed it.

  I am a total novice, capturing HDV footage from a JVC camera. I’m not sure how exactly to phrase this correctly, but it is 720p, HD-HDV24P. I have tried several settings, but I can’t get it to recognize the camera. Under audio/video settings what should I have it set on for device control and capture/input? I’m on a serious time crunch here and any help would be greatly appreciated!
