• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  FCE/AVCHD Render

  Hi-
  I’ve logged and transferred some AVCHD clips in Final Cut Express and they come in fine. However, when I drop them in the timeline, they need to be rendered. The item properties of the clips are Apple Intermediate Codec and the sequence setting is Apple Intermediate Codec/1080i60. Clips are coming from a Canon Vixia HG-20. Things are fine when they render but I don’t understand why they are asking to be rendered when the settings of the codecs seem to match.
