  Moving positions makes video blurry

  Hello. I am using NTSC DV footage on FCP 6.0.4. Every time I change a position keyframe, especially to an even number, the footage gets blurry.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Does rendering fix the blurriness? Make sure you’re using “Render All” in order to fully render the previews.

  No. It’s all rendered. It didn’t used to do this. I have the footage at ‘centered’ y, -40 and a few frames later moving to y, -38 and it blurs up in the middle at -39… annoying.

  I was informed that maybe my computer monitor was playing tricks on me. Someone said you can’t trust what FCP looks like in a computer monitor. I took the video into the control room and looked on our video monitors and it looked fantastic. Thanks again.
