  • Help: blue band in canvas frame

    Hi,
I’m new to Final Cut Pro (version 6.0.4). I’m having a major issue with a sequence I’m working on. A blue-purplish vertical band appears in the last clip of the sequence in the final frame of the ending shot. I edited a second clip in another sequence to see if the same problem showed up, and it did. Why is it doing this? How can I make the blue-purplish vertical bar stop and go away? Please help!

Never mind the vertical purple blue bar (or is it blue-purple?). It’s just an overlay that indicates the last frame of your sequence. It won’t show up on exports.

To turn off overlays, deselect View>show overlays.

    A big relief. Many thanks!
