  avchd sound problem

  I have final cut pro 6 and after using the log and transfer of an AVCHD file from my SDHC card I run into a problem. I can hear the sound in the viewer but when I transfer it to the canvas or time line I can not hear the sound even after rendering. I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

  I think I solved the problem. I changed the codec from Dv ntsc 48 to apple intermediate code 1080. I no longer have the audio problem after doing this.
